This two-week project creates a graphic narrative about a real life Andhra Pradesh character, adapting their life story into a fictional journey of migration and personal growth. The story uses metaphors to explore the challenges and triumphs of adapting to a new environment.

A small comic of behind the scenes of creating the graphic novel Jalebi.

The idea for the graphic narrative originated in the streets of mangalgiri in Andhra Pradesh, when I met Mr. Gopi in his small jalebi shop. He not only made me eat but make jalebis too!
